Two of the region's largest physician groups have contracted with Penn State Geisinger to provide health care services as part of the health system's managed care network in Central Pennsylvania, according to a press release from Insurer Physicians of Harrisburg Inc.
The two groups represent 120 physicians, most of whom are primary-care physicians.
The physician groups are Insurer Physicians of Harrisburg Inc. and Physician Services Organization of York Inc. This is the second managed-care contract for these two groups. The first is with HealthGuard of Lancaster.
