NSW: Police, transit officers and dog squad to patrol rail lines

Fifty police, 100 transit officers and the dog squad will patrol key train lines in
a high visibility policing operation during the Royal Easter Show.

Operations Vikings started yesterday and will run until April the 15th.

It will also extend to several rugby league matches scheduled during the operational period.

Vikings involves police from six transit units including Kuring-gai, City Central,
Campsie, Campbelltown and Parramatta.

The dog squad will also assist.
